We would like to introduce new features being added in “ONGEKI Re:Fresh Act.2”, launching on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Technical Challenge Now Uses a “Full Run” Format!

In “ONGEKI Re:Fresh Act.2”, your score and ranking will now be recorded by playing all Technical Challenge target songs in a “Full Run”!

New Technical Challenge Rules

〈About Full Runs〉
Your total score will be recorded by playing all Technical Challenge target songs consecutively.
If you stop partway through playing the Technical Challenge target songs (※), your total score will not be recorded and you will not be counted as having participated in the Technical Challenge.

※ The conditions that will interrupt a Full Run are as follows:
1. If you play a song other than the Technical Challenge target songs (including playing a different difficulty of a target song)
2. If you play a song you have already completed in the current Full Run (the replayed song will be treated as the first song of a new Full Run)
3. If you log out

Technical Challenge target songs can be played in any order, and TOTAL T-SCORE and TOTAL P-SCORE are each saved and updated separately.

You can participate in the Technical Challenge by playing all target songs in a Full Run from outside the Technical Challenge category or from a different chapter, however,
your Full Run progress and Technical Challenge scores can only be checked within the Technical Challenge category of the relevant chapter.

Songs you have already completed in the current Full Run will be marked with an icon (displayed only within the Technical Challenge category).

〈About Rankings〉
Technical Challenge rankings are determined by the following rules:
1. Higher “TOTAL T-SCORE”
2. If “TOTAL T-SCORE” is tied, higher “TOTAL P-SCORE”
3. If both “TOTAL T-SCORE” and “TOTAL P-SCORE” are tied, the earlier score update timestamp
※ The update timestamp is overwritten when either “TOTAL T-SCORE” or “TOTAL P-SCORE” is updated.
(Starting with ONGEKI Re:Fresh Act.2, the update timestamp will also be overwritten when “TOTAL P-SCORE” is updated.)

〈About Participation Rewards〉
In conjunction with the Technical Challenge renewal, the participation reward contents will be changed.

〈Other Important Notes〉
After the “ONGEKI Re:Fresh Act.2” version update, the “Technical Challenge Individual Song Rankings” on ONGEKI-NET will no longer be viewable. Please be aware of this in advance. (Rankings from past Technical Challenge events will also become unavailable.)
