Here we introduce the new features being added in “ONGEKI Re:Fresh”, the version update launching on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
PLATINUM SCORE Feature Expansion!
〈PLATINUM SCORE Now Displayed for EXPERT and Below〉
Your earned PLATINUM SCORE will now be displayed for BASIC through EXPERT difficulties as well.
Additionally, you will be able to check PLATINUM SCORE rankings for EXPERT and below in the per-song rankings on ONGEKI-NET.
※ If you played BASIC through EXPERT charts in ONGEKI bright MEMORY Act.1 or later, your PLATINUM SCORE for those charts will be automatically displayed after transferring your data to ONGEKI Re:Fresh.
※ PLATINUM SCORE records (including Technical Challenge) from plays made prior to ONGEKI bright will not be reflected in My Records.
※ Please note that song rankings on ONGEKI-NET will only reflect your best score from plays made in ONGEKI Re:Fresh or later. As a result, the score shown in My Records and the score shown in the rankings may differ.
〈PLATINUM SCORE Sort〉
A sort option to arrange songs by PLATINUM SCORE percentage will be added to the song sort feature.
〈Earn ☆ Based on Your PLATINUM SCORE〉
You will now be able to earn ☆ based on your PLATINUM SCORE percentage.
If you have already earned a PLATINUM SCORE, your ☆ will be calculated automatically after transferring to ONGEKI Re:Fresh.

〈Total ☆ Count Ranking Added〉
A “Total ☆ Count Ranking” will be added to the Total Rankings on ONGEKI-NET.
Up to 5 ☆ per chart will be counted (with no score distinction between “☆☆☆☆☆” and “☆☆☆☆☆ (Rainbow)”), and the total ☆ count across all charts will be displayed in the ranking. You will also be able to view the total ranking broken down by difficulty.
The Rating System Gets a Revamp!
With the version update to ONGEKI Re:Fresh, the rating system will be completely renewed.

You will now be able to see finer rating fluctuations than before.
〈Rating Calculation Method Changed〉
The rating system has been completely overhauled from the one used up through ONGEKI bright MEMORY, and rating will now be calculated using a new formula.

The upper reference score limit for TECHNICAL SCORE rating will be extended from 1,007,500 to 1,010,000 points.
Three bonus values will be added based on your Clear Mark (FC/AB, etc.), Score Mark (SSS/SSS+, etc.), and FULL BELL Mark.
Updating your marks will now lead to significant increases in your rating value, so be sure to aim for those mark updates!
〈About the PLATINUM SCORE Slot〉
In the PLATINUM SCORE slot, you earn rating value per chart based on the number of ☆ corresponding to your PLATINUM SCORE percentage.
If your PLATINUM SCORE percentage is below 94%, the rating value for that chart will be 0.
The maximum rating value per chart is reached when your PLATINUM SCORE percentage is 98% or above.
The system is designed so that earning ☆4–5 on a slightly easier chart will yield a higher rating value per chart than earning ☆1–3 on a harder chart.
As the maximum rating value is being updated, the text color associated with each rating value will also change.
